For the past 2 decades, Mr. Armstrong has been the President of S.A. Armstrong Limited; a 70-year-old international manufacturer recently voted one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies. As Chairman of the Board at Konverge, Charles Armstrong leads us in the progression of developing innovative custom software applications and their implementation in organizations of all sizes. A published author and an avid speaker in the community, Mr. Armstrong maintains a keen interest in lifelong learning programs and has been involved in several local training initiatives.
Sonia Couto is a business visionary, strategic leader, and sits at the helm of two award-winning software products.
She is the Director of Konverge Digital Solutions, a custom software development company, and has been with Konverge since 2008. Sonia is a highly results-driven leader that oversees the day-to-day operations of the company. Additionally, she monitors revenue margins and worker productivity, implements new directives for growth, and sets and monitors key performance indicators.
Sonia is also the founder of MenuSano, a tech company that is part of Konverge’s portfolio of companies. She has overseen MenuSano’s development from its inception. Working with the MenuSano team, Sonia drives initiatives that will lead to strategic partnerships and growth within Canada and internationally.
Sonia has been the recipient of several awards that acknowledge her excellence in leadership in the software industry. As a dedicated member of the tech community, she organizes and runs a COO roundtable for PeerScale, a peer-to-peer organization for tech leaders to connect, share, and grow. Her interest in health has led her to become an advocate for early breast cancer detection and supporting women going through diagnoses. Furthermore, Sonia volunteers for the SilStar foundation, by helping them with their marketing and social media campaigns to raise awareness and funds for lung cancer research.
Roxroy is responsible for managing the delivery of software product features and releases while building, testing, and reviewing software that provides customers with sophisticated and user-friendly technology. He is responsible for managing and coordinating Konverge resources and processes to deliver software which defines the vision, definition, and strategy for the development team. His tech expertise drives project initiatives that deliver on the Konverge vision.
Christine has been with Konverge since 2010 conceptualizing, creating, delivering, and managing the graphical content Konverge produces. From screens to print, to branding and design, Christine’s role as a graphic coordinator is responsible for creating pleasing visual graphics for Konverge and their customers. With expertise in user interface design, Christine works with the development teams to design and guide the look and feel of Konverge’s applications.
Christine also oversees the day to day marketing activities of the company, creating and delivering marketing ideas and campaigns. She conceptualizes and creates Konverge’s marketing materials, and manages marketing projects.
Madhur is responsible for the success of Konverge’s software development projects, that they are delivered on time, and that the budget is what’s expected by the client. He coordinates the project resources, plans and organizes tasks, and is responsible for the efficiency and profitability of Konverge’s custom software solutions.
Through regular meetings with the technical team and the client, Madhur ensures that the business requirements are properly met and that the gaps are identified in a precise manner for every project.
Nimisha overlooks the test planning, ensures project executions comply with corporate and industry standards, identifies test requirements, assigns test case scenarios and designs test coverage plans for the Konverge team. She establishes new corporate quality management methodologies (agile and waterfall), processes, standards and policies which result in better quality performance and reliability for Konverge’s products. She maintains constant communication with customers, teams, managers, and the Konverge leadership group to provide status reports on deliverables and to facilitate the development processes.
Nimisha also implements change requests for projects and systematically updates information using Excel to facilitate data analytics and reporting. She builds realistic quality measurements and business models for Konverge products to secure the success of every sprint in every project.
Sakitha ensures that Konverge’s custom software projects are functional and ready for launch. She creates and executes end-to-end test plans and is responsible for meeting project objectives. She guarantees that every phase and feature of the software is tested, and reports any potential issues to the development team to guarantee the success of the project before the product goes live.
Sunshine assists in the execution of all marketing strategies as outlined in the company’s business and marketing plans. She monitors SEO activities, develops SEO strategies, and creates, edits, updates, and optimizes content for Konverge’s website and various platforms.
Sunshine continually seeks and researches new sources of prospective customer data, competitive products/companies by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising. She also analyzes market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
Karan is responsible for creating engaging content for B2B target audiences, for Konverge, and two of its products across all of our social media channels. His role involves the creation of videos, photos, graphics, social posts, and podcasts to promote Konverge’s award-winning products and consulting services in the digital space.
Karan also identifies the opportunities for how social media can enhance a campaign, support the execution of strategic initiatives, increase overall engagement and contribute to the totality of our customers’ experiences. He supports the content marketing team to ensure that the social and online video ideas relate back to Konverge’s content strategy and channel plans.
Victor is our very talented Business Analyst with years of technical experience under his belt. He works with clients in the development of System Requirement Specification, Business Requirements Outline documents, and Konverge’s QA process.
Victor’s role includes being a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization. He also recommends solutions that enable our clients to achieve their goals.
Diptee is one of Konverge’s QA Analysts. Her role includes analyzing and reviewing Business Workflows, Functional Specification documents to prepare Test Cases, Gap Documents, Test Scenarios, and Use Cases based on Test Plans.
She provides necessary feedback by reporting and monitoring defects encountered while testing each iteration. As part of the QA team, her ability to complete various tasks within the given time regardless of any time constraints or resource constraints is a valuable skill that Diptee brings to Konverge.
Rogerio is one of Konverge’s Business Analysts. He holds an MBA and a PhD and a Master’s in Computational Modelling and Industrial Technologies. With his impressive background, he analyzes organizations and defines them in terms of processes, requirements, and/or systems, using different tools and techniques. In order to assess the business model or its integration with technology, he essentially proposes improvements that need to be made.
Rogerio’s essential objective as a BA is helping businesses implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining and gathering the needed and valuable requirements of a project or system, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, project managers, co-workers, and partners.
